Following the graduation of the students, the Education committee and board celebrated with the students and their families at the Desert Star Hotel with hosts Debra and Richard Hovel. This annual event gives us the opportunity to meet the students and their families and share stories on how they became interested in pursuing a career in architecture and design.
This years recipients are:
- Juan Carlos Lugas and Jose Francisco De Loera (Cathedral City High School)
- Allison Ruelas (Palm Springs High School)
- Henoc Benevides (Desert Hot Springs High School)
- Each student receives a scholarship for $1,500 plus gifts of books and DVD’s to further their local architectural knowledge.
