A Palm Springs regular since the mid 1970’s, Staci Munic became enamored and engrained in the Palm Springs lifestyle. Her folks came to Palm Springs from Chicago for a quick vacation to visit friends, fell in love with the desert, and bought a home here to escape Chicago’s harsh winters.
An active member in the River North Design District in Chicago, Staci is a monthly contributor to its blog. Staci Munic Interiors has been featured on Houzz TV Live, on Houzz Magazine, and Staci’s renovated Cody Tennis Club Bungalow was featured in Palm Springs Modernism Week Tour in 2019 and 2020. Living and running design firms in both Chicago and Palm Springs, she decided to make Palm Springs her primary residence this past spring.
She is in the process of restoring a home in the Indian Canyon Estates. Having a background in the hospitality industry, In 2019, Staci was selected to serve on Monogram’s Design Council.
Staci is a lifelong learner and cares deeply about our community on all levels.Preserving our unique architecture matters to her, as does investing in the education and career development of our rising generation of adolescents and young adults.
She is an entrepreneur and an educator. An art appreciator and a tennis player. A collaborator and a considerate thinker. Staci is grateful for the opportunity to serve on PS modcom’s board of directors.
