Nestled high in the hills of the Mesa, with spectacular views of South Palm Springs sits one of the most unique architectural homes. Originally designed by architect William Nicholson in the 1970’s this has been a constant source of fascination to locals and tourists alike as it has never been open to the public.
The house was constructed by spraying shotcrete onto steel rebar and wire mesh frames over inflated aeronautical balloons reminiscent of the Flintstone House, also by Nicholson, located in Hillsborough, CA.
In 2017 the house was acquired by real estate broker Dan Valentino and designer Thomas Warrick. Valentino was inspired to re-imagine and re-design the home based on his love for the island of Santorini in Greece. The remarkable attention to detail is reflected in every area of both the exterior and interior spaces creating a breathtaking experience that transports you to an authentic Aegean island experience.
We invite you to join us as the doors open for the very first time to this amazing house. The last tour includes a poolside reception with an authentic Greek experience.
