Dominic Ramos Ruiz

Board Member

Dominic is an urbanist devoted to social equity and impact. He is a New York-based professional engaged in urban planning issues involving real estate, sustainability, and public health, and uses his expertise to help organizations develop solutions to systemic challenges.

An advocate for cultural and historic preservation, Dominic is also a supporter of the Palm Springs Preservation Foundation, The Public Theater, and The Municipal Art Society as well as New York’s Design Trust for Public Space where he serves as Vice Chair of the Board.

As design enthusiasts, collectors, and part-time residents of Palm Springs, Dominic and his husband are deeply committed to preservation of mid-century modern architecture and reside in a Class One Historic Site built in 1962.
