Bob Bogard has lived in Palm Springs for more than 14 years, currently working as the Director of Public Relations at O’Bayley Communications, a Palm Springs Marketing and Public Relations agency. He has also served as Marketing Director for Desert Publications and Director of Marketing Communications at the Palm Springs Art Museum. Through these organizations and additional volunteering, Bob has worked very closely with the local architecture and preservation communities, from launching the Architecture and Design Center to ongoing work with Modernism Week.

He has served as a board member of the Palm Springs Preservation Foundation and was Chairman of the Modernism Week Committee. He has also been an active member of the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism Marketing Committee and the Desert Gay Tourism Guild. He is currently a board member for the Movie Colony East neighborhood organization.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communications.
