Join us for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres featuring an informal Fashion Show of Trina Turk and Mr. Turk’s new tennis-inspired Spring Collection amidst the chic modernism of the historic Tennis Club’s Bougainvillea Room. Designed in 1947 by famed architects Paul R. Williams and A. Quincy Jones, the room incorporated a more sophisticated version of Desert Modernism emphasizing the natural wood and stone of the surrounding mountains with wraparound glass tying the outdoors to the indoors.
The event also features a panel discussion moderated by PS ModCom board member, Staci Munic, examining the fascinating history of the Club, its architectural significance, and the social importance of tennis in branding Palm Springs as America’s Foremost Desert Resort.
