Get ready to tune in and turn on to our next adventure — an afternoon exploring the diverse architecture and design movement in the high desert communities near Joshua Tree National Park.
The Walker Guest House Replica Is Getting A New Home.
A stunning full-scale, furnished replica of architect Paul Rudolph’s iconic 1952 Walker Guest House will soon greet visitors in downtown Palm Springs.
The exhibit opened for public tours in October 2018 and will remain open through March 2020.
The Palm Springs Modern Committee (PS ModCom) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the appreciation and preservation of Desert Modern architecture and design.
We accomplish this through education, advocacy for threatened buildings, promotion of heritage tourism, and the celebration of successes in preservation and adaptive reuse.
