Roswitha earned a PhD in Communication from the University of Denver and holds Masters degrees in both Anthropology and Speech Pathology/Audiology from the University of Colorado. She lectured in both Universities.

Roswitha has always been actively involved in community work and philanthropy. She served on numerous boards and chaired the board of a major Healthcare System as well as a large metropolitan Hospice both in Denver.

In 2006 she and her husband moved to Rancho Mirage having visited for several years prior. In 2012, Roswitha’s life-long passion for architecture led her to join the Architecture and Design Council of the Palm Springs Museum. A year later she was elected to the board. She is also a founder of the new Architecture and Design Museum as well as a docent for the historic Frey house.

Roswitha recently moved to a historic house in Palm Springs which has been lovingly restored. For the past 30 years she has also restored a 14th Century house in a small village in Southern France where she spends part of each year.

After being an active member of ModCom for 2 years she joined the board in January 2015.
