John Williams is a local hotel owner whose property is a classic 1958 Mid-Century Modern building. John has served six years on the Historic Site Preservation Board for Palm Springs, and served as Chair for part of that time.

John has been a PS ModCom member since 1999 and has a keen interest in Mid-Century architecture. In May 2012, John was selected to serve on the City of Palm Springs’ Measure J oversight committee. This group of 10 residents will monitor, on behalf of tax payers, how the funds are spent on downtown’s Desert Fashion Plaza revitalization project.
